With a deep respect for design and understanding of construction methodologies, Place bridges the gap between concept and execution. Place offers premium builds across residential and small scale commercial projects with a deep focus on precision and quality craftsmanship to create purposeful and enduring spaces. With over two decades in carpentry and architecture, the team brings together a unique building approach backed by architectural insight and trade expertise; Jake, with a background in Architecture and registered as both a Building Practitioner and Contractor, and Mitch, a qualified carpenter with over a decade of hands on experience.

Construction ManagerJake brings a unique and diverse skill set to Place Construction, blending architectural expertise with a decade of experience across multiple facets of the construction industry.
Trained as an Architect, Jake has honed his craft through experience in both construction supervision and management roles. He has successfully overseen design and construct façade projects in the commercial space, with values up to $1.5 million. Additionally, Jake has spent time supervising hospitality and residential projects ranging from $500K to $1.2 million.
Jake is passionate about architecture and dedicated to ensuring that design intent is meticulously carried through to the built form. His commitment to exceeding industry standards and delivering projects of exceptional quality is paramount to his approach. Jake’s extensive experience allows him to ensure our projects are delivered efficiently, while managing the interests of all key stakeholders.
Jake holds a Masters of Architecture, a Diploma of Building and Construction, and is both a registered Building Contractor and Building Practitioner.

Architectural CarpenterMitch brings over a decade of experience in the building and construction industry. He combines hands-on experience and exceptional knowledge of construction industry standards in the delivery of detailed projects.
Mitch has applied his attentive approach whilst working both as a leading hand carpenter and site supervisor on architectural projects throughout Western Australia.
Experienced in cost management and scheduling, Mitch has been responsible for the successful completion of various hospitality and architectural residential projects ranging in value from $850K to $1.3 million.
Mitch holds a Cert 3 in Carpentry and Joinery. He possesses a keen eye for design and is committed to achieving excellence on all Place Construction projects.
